April 3rd 2014 First Secret Posting...

This is a TOP SECRET BLOG!!!  ONLY for Volunteer/Parents/Grandparents of Students at Chatham Academy to Share Information for " Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week May 2014"
Thank you everyone for Joining our Secret Page. I'm hoping THE BLOG will be a great source of communication. A way to keep our activities secret and creative juices flowing. ** And an important note: I am not a great speller, I ramble some and I'm sometimes forgetful.....so I'll need help!!

1.Information about How last year went:
I sent home and emailed letter asking for ideas, donations, volunteers etc.....
                        And we had an AMAZING WEEK. Not in any order.....
 One day Breakfast donated by a Grandparent.....
 One day Lunch (Salad and Baked Potato Bar) donated by parents.....
 One day Coke/Rootbeer Floats in Mason Jars they kept..... 
 Donations from YOU  We purchased and arranged for Smart Wash Mobile Auto Detail to service each Teacher and Staff Member's Car during the Week and (AT THE SCHOOL DURING WORKING HOURS)..
..one day Macy's gift bag with samples
....and Subway gift cards for Footlongs!!
 Notes and Cards of Thanks from students and Parents ........
Then our final gift was "Savannah Menu Club Membership Card" with One Year membership. 

    AND I can tell you the Teachers and Staff enjoyed every moment.  They told me how Appreciated and Honored they felt and there were some Happy tears :)

So....We are going to need....new and creative ideas for this years week.  We need volunteers to help organize and sign up to help pull off each day.  Right now I'm trying to confirm the date. Either week of May 5th or May 12th. 
I'm trying to send this to all Chatham Academy Contacts. If you notice someone has not been notified please feel free to ask them to join. 

Ideas: What are your ideas?? Would you rather donate money, volunteer to bring lunch, serve lunch, ask local business to donate, are you a local business and want to donate, want to volunteer to decorate, make a video for teachers??? Post your ideas......
I will update with the date soon and try to narrow down some ideas.....THANKS EVERYONE
